About
Talk Saves Lives is an introductory suicide prevention education program that provides a foundational understanding of this leading cause of death. Participants will learn about the scope of the issue, the research behind risk and protective factors, common warning signs, and evidence-based strategies for prevention.

Important Information:
- Registration: Sign up on GivePulse by the listed registration deadline. Each session is limited to the first 20 students, and a minimum of 5 participants is required for the class to be held. If a session fills, additional opportunities may be offered throughout the year.
- Course Communication: Once you register, all course information will be sent to your TCC email.
- Session Requirements: Each session meets on the specific date and time listed in the shift description. You must attend the full session and actively participate in order to receive 1 hour of volunteer/service credit.
- Attendance Policy: Arriving 15 minutes or more after the session start time will result in not being admitted to the course.
- Participants can only receive an hour for this course once a year due to certificate.
